Dave, you were a force of nature. A gentleman, and a truly special human being. Your ability to make light of difficult situations was superb, and your ability to make people laugh was unrivalled. Working alongside you for 20 odd years was a privilege and an absolute pleasure. You have left an idelible mark on many lives including mine. I miss you Dave, and you will never be forgotten. I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
