I chatted with Dave at the Typhoon preservation stand, Chalke Valley Festival. It must have been in 2019. I explained that my brother (a supporter) hasn't the use of digital media. Dave was so patient and very kindly suggested the two could meet for a coffee next time he visited west Dorset. Sadly the meeting didn't occur (because of the pandemic) but we want to express our sorrow at his passing. Clearly, he was a special and beloved individual.
